Higashi Hongan-ji Temple (800m 8min walk)
For something a little off the beaten path, this impressive temple was established by 1602 by Shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu. The sheer scale and the architectural features of this temple complex from impressive gate and large open courtyard is truly inspiring.
